Maja Design's GDT *week1*

Hi! This will be my first week at Maja Design. I am so proud and happy to become one of their creative team member for this month! Thank you so much again to Maja Designs for inviting me.

This is what I made for this week.... 

The size is small, 6 x 6 inches, but love how this small layout turned out with all the soft colors! And this even looks more good with the frame. 

I used the Vintage Summer Basics Collection for my layout. I love all the shabby chic with the beautiful flowers and wood designs of the paper. Even the frame with the photo inside is made out of Maja Design's paper! (Memories)

皆さん、こんばんは！

今日はMaja DesignのＧＤＴ作品１作品目をご紹介させてください(*^_^*)

これから毎週作品をアップする予定です♪とっても楽しみでなりません！(>_<)♥

今週はこちらの６インチ作品を作りました。なんと実に６インチを作るのは３年ぶりかも！？ラブメモのフレームを買ったので、６インチがどうしても作りたかったんです！

そして、今回はMaja Designから「着物を着た親子の写真を使った作品を作ってほしい」というリクエストがあり、またまたスタジオプチパさんで撮って頂いた七五三の写真を使いました(^_^;)もうかなりこの写真で作品を作りましたが、どれも作品のタイプが違うので、また違っていい感じ♪６インチはサイズが小さい分、サクサクと作れちゃいましたヽ(=´▽`=)ﾉ♪

クローズアップです。

You can see how I put layers of cut out flowers between and made them pop up a little.
フラワーの間にはカットアウトのお花をたくさんポップアップにしてレイヤーにしてみました。

And here is a little tip from me. 

Since the flowers have ver soft colors, I think the flower design will pop up more when you ink the edges.

そして簡単なチップですが・・・(*'-'*)

お花をカットアウトするとき、どうしても色や柄が薄かったりするとぼんやりしてしまったりあまりフラワーが強調されないので、もっと強調するためにインクを縁に塗ってみるのもポイントですね(*^_^*)

By this you can use blue or turquoise. Maybe brown if you want to have a more vintage look. But I prefer something that is close to blue if you want to have a shabby chic look on your project.

シャビーシックを希望される方は、ブルーやターコイズのインクがおすすめです♪よりビンテージにしたい方はもちろん茶色のインクでもいいと思います！だけど、全体的なバランスとしてこのような色合いでしたらインクはブルー系がおすすめです(*^_^*)

You can put these flowers between your photo like how I did below.
このような感じでフラワーや写真の間に入れると可愛くなるし、ワンポイントになりますね！
