We need your help....

Hi everyone.
On March 11th, there was a big earthquake, the biggest earthquake ever to hit Japan recorded as magnitude 9.0 in Tohoku region. Also, that earthquake led another big quake in Kanto capital region. I am seeing these scenes by news and just feel so terrified by this tragedy....

I want to call out for your help. I am thinking of selling artists/scrapper's creations on online in Japan(they can be cards or anything) and donate the profit to Japan Red Cross Society, where they can send the profit to the places that were affected. I will be making some projects myself too.

If you are able to help, please send me an email to "ponyo0315@gmail.com" so I can send you the address to send your creation(s).

***Since all profits will be donated,  I hope you will understand that I will not be able to pay for the expenses.

Here are some updates.
You will be sending your project(s) to me and I will be selling them on online(Still haven't confirmed how but thinking of the bet way we can do this)

We will be selling these to people in Japan (since we do not ship to overseas) The layouts and altered will be sold in the price of 3,000 Yen (About $36) and cards for 1,000 Yen (About $12). I know the price is not high, but we want more and more people to participate for the donantion. The profit will be donated to Red Cross Society.

***Update***
I have given advises to sell the creations worldwide. It's just that I'm a little scared to do that since I have never sold anything to foreign countries before, and I will be mostly doing this myself....... (some girls will help though)

If someone can due for foreign countries too, that will be great help!!!!!
Thank you so much for your understanding.

Thank you so much for all your help. I have received so many beautiful creations from all over the world for this fund raising!!! Since we have so many creations to sell already, I'll will be closing this request at the end of April. The creations will be sold at mixi (Japanese social website, for people in Japan only) and will be updating my blog every now and then:o)
Thank you so much again!!!!!

Thank you so much for your cooperation!!!!!!

Love,
Tomoko

Tomoko. I do not know if I will be more helpful by donating or buying, because I do not have much experience to do legal work for purchase. But I thought about making ATCs. So I can make several, sending a low cost, since the freight from Brazil to Japan must be very expensive and still be able to buy some work. The postal system is good to receive such projects?
So, I'll send an email now! I hope I can help! And I'll post it on my blog!
Hugs.

I sent you an email too and, also, agree with the poster above about whether donating $$ or projects would be more profitable overall for the relief effort...just let me know which one, and I can send $$ or projects...ATC's are a great idea too.

I wish I knew more in order to help you find an effective way to sell the donated creations for relief funds. I know that here in the US, ebay has a charity auction system in place where you auction off products or have them at set prices, then when someone buys and pays for the item, a set % (determined by you) gets donated to your cause, so they donate the funds directly. I checked though and it only lists the domestic red cross, not the one in Japan. Since ebay does not have a designated Japanese site, I called the US ebay and they said that even though you live in Japan, you can open an ebay account on the regular site (ebay.com). Then when listing a charity auction, when it asks for which charity you would like to donate the funds to, you manually enter Japan Red Cross Society. However, since they are not already registered as a charity w/ebay, they cannot guarentee that Japan's Red Cross will accept the funds. In which case you would receive the funds and have to donate it separately. Hope this made sense. If not, just let me know and I'll try to explain more clearly or you can call ebay directly. My email is dlwidder@yahoo.com

Dear Artist
Only now could translate your text. I would like to help, but taxes on shipments to Brazil are very high. It is hard work have a box, which possibly will be more expensive packaging than the content. I'll think of some way to enable esyte shipping. Excuse my English, it has been done in an online translator, I know you'll understand the lines of the heart.
kisses

Dear Artist
To my way of helping this on a stamp that I put on my blog, help a heart of love .... the stuff I pray that people do it with love and kindness. I'm too far and still not sure how to help materially. Pray for me,
